National Day of Puppetry recognized with Puppetry Workshops throughout the state

Dear Guild Members and Friends of Puppetry,

It is Puppet time!!! The National, as well as, World Day of Puppetry is now officially March 21 (since year 2015) and Puppeteers here in Utah are excited to celebrate. Utah is alive with puppets and we are ready to highlight our three guild branches. The guilds are dedicated to promoting and sharing the art of puppetry and will be offering their annual community outreach activities and workshops. Workshop participants can learn about the different puppet types, make a puppet, learn puppet performance techniques, and see easy to make puppet stages. Puppets make great storytellers, educators, friends, and even psychoanalysts. They also promote creative problem solving. Come laugh with us while discovering the creativity, artistic opportunities, and fun that puppets bring with them.
