About

The Puppetry Arts Guild of Utah (PAGU) is dedicated to promoting the art of puppetry in the State of Utah.

Among its members, the guild includes puppet builders as well as individual puppeteers and puppetry troupes, both professionals as well as hobbyists, some with decades of experience in puppet making and performance as well as beginners.

The guild is available as a resource for Educators, Librarians, Scouting Organizations, the local Entertainment Industry, and anyone else who is interested in puppets and puppetry.

For the past 19 years the guild has hosted an annual Puppetry Workshop where members teach a number of classes on puppetry topics, including basic puppetry performance techniques, simple as well as advanced puppet building, ventriloquism, and puppet use in education.

In conjunction with the annual workshops, the guild also hosts a yearly Puppet Variety Show, called the Great Puppet Follies, featuring performances by puppeteers from all over Utah.

  1. I wanted to chat with someone about events and activities at Station Park in Farmington and if the Puppetry Arts Guild would be interested in some upcomming signature events. Thanks.
