Dear Friends of Puppetry,
Mark your calendars for a free Puppets-in-the-Park event in Brigham City, Saturday, August 9, from 10 am to 2 pm. This is co-sponsored by the Brigham City Fine Arts Center’s World of Puppetry Museum and the Puppetry Arts Guild of Utah. We will be at Rotary Constitution Park, 450 East 700 South, in Brigham City. Anyone who is interested in selling puppet wares, running a craft booth, and/ or performing needs to call or e-mail Susan Neidert at email@example.com ASAP. Booth space will be $5 per person/group, and there may be a small commission for the guild from the sales. . .
We will have a sound system there and there is a decent shaded hill we hope to take advantage of for the audience. Right now we have Pulley Puppets, Five Cats (and Shelby Rickart), Paradise Puppetworks, and Your Imaginary Friends signed up to entertain us—with a visit by the Fine Arts Center’s Punch and Judy, and a few other new entertainers promising more laughs and good times. Check back, there should be more information coming shortly.
Also, a few pics from the Hyrum 4th of July parade featuring puppets from Paradise Puppetworks. Summer fun everywhere.
Hope you can join us on August 9.
